Intellectual Property Protection in Cyber Space

(Theory)

 

CO43:    Examine intellectual property law concepts critically and apply them to cyberspace, copyright, trademarks, and domain names.

CO44:    Develop a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of linking, inline linking, framing, and their legal implications under Indian law.

CO45:   Explains the principles, evolution, online distribution, distinctions from broadcasting, and particular legal protections of webcasting.

CO46:  Evaluates ISPs' role and liabilities in digital content distribution, and comprehends DRM & definition, purpose, and elements.

CO47: Construct a deep understanding of the concept of databases and the various methods available for their protection through intellectual property rights (IPR) laws and other legal mechanisms.
