Guest Lecture in RTI 2017

The Department of Business Studies organised a Guest Lecture on the topic ‘RTI – An Empowering Tool for the citizens of India’ for the students of B.Com (P) and B.Com (H) on March 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at the New Activities Hall, IISU Campus.

Dr. Roopa Manglani, renowned RTI activist and Associate Professor, LBS PG College, Kothputli was invited as the resource person.

Since its inception in 2005, RTI has played a significant role in bringing forth the multi-crore scams and aberrations in the functioning of the government sector.  The lecture was instrumental in acquainting the students about the utility, utility  and applicability of the act. The lecture was highly interactive and the resource person demonstrated the filing  of online and offline RTI form  and encouraged the students to make use of this powerful instrument.
