  1. Student will examine the features of Indian economy and explore its position in the world economy.
  2. Student will evaluate the need of different economic reforms and interpret the structural adjustments required for the economic development.
  3. Student will examine the role of different public sector undertaking and economic policies in recent scenario.
  4. Student will explore the significance of economic planning and globalization in Indian economy.
  5.  Student will examine the role of unemployment and Population growth as a retarding factor in economic development and critically evaluate the Present National Population Policy.
