  1. Introduction:

An awareness of consumer rights and right to information is vital for the development of society. The objective of organising lecture was to make the students of the school aware about the rights which are available to the citizens of India as consumers. The lecture was completed in two sessions. In the first session students of classes IX and X were acquainted with basics of consumer rights.

Second session was conducted for students of classes XI and XII, where in they were told about Right to Information as well as Consumer Rights.

The activity gathered overwhelming response from the students and they were acquainted with the essential aspects of this landmark act.

 

  1. Target Group & Venue:
  • The target group was the School students of classes IX to XII.
  • Venue:  GVM Senior Secondary School, Malviya Nagar Jaipur

 

  1. Materials & Methods Used:
  • Handouts were provided to students .
  • Pens and Notepad were provided to them.
