(Theory)

The students will be able to –

 

CO 73: Analyze the role of a HR manager and explore the different tools used in forecasting and planning human resource needs.

 

CO 74: Write the Job Specification and Job Description for various positions in the organization and discover the recruitment  , selection , placement and induction practices that the various organizations adopt.

 

CO 75: Value the importance of training in the performance appraisal system in enhancing employee performance, connect the basis of promotion and transfer in the organization along with the various types of employee separations.

CO 76: Prioritize the importance of discipline in an organization and the various disciplinary measures adopted.

 

CO 77 : Connect the concepts of grievance handling, succession planning, career planning and participative management - the current need of the organization to labour turnover and devise ways how to minimize the same.

CO 78 :  Recommend compensation schemes according to the factors that affect it, comply with the legal framework and appraise the role of modern HRM in meeting challenges of changing business environment.
