Employment Laws in India (Theory)

CO43: Discuss the important definitions and provisions regarding health, safety, welfare and working hours of workers under the Factories Act, 1948.

CO44: Understand key definitions and provisions for setting and updating Minimum Wages according to The Minimum Wages Act, 1948.

CO45: Discuss the important definitions and provisions of eligibility, calculation and forfeiture of gratuity as under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.

CO46: Assess the important schemes and provisions under The Employee Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.

CO47: Evaluate procedures of handling Employee Relations as per Industrial Dispute Act, 1948.
