REPORT

An activity of Business Crossword, organized by the Department of Business Studies took place on March 11, 2024 at the AV hall of IISU campus. Themed around the Corporate World & the Indian Knowledge System, the objective of the activity was to familiarize participants with terminologies pertinent to the theme.

The event was initiated by Dr. Princy Thomas who extended a warm welcome to all the students and faculty members of department setting the stage for Dr. Shilpi Saxena to lead the program. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation as the participants geared up for an engaging experience.

The event witnessed active participation from students, who eagerly raced to provide answers to the crossword puzzles. On both the themes during the activity participation level of students was of equal quantum. Each correct answer was accompanied by fascinating facts, some of which were contributed by the students themselves. Adding an extra layer of depth to the activity Prof. Ruchi Jain captivated the audience with insightful narratives on The Nalanda University and the Dashavatar of lord Vishnu, shedding light on the rich cultural heritage of our nation. Each student who cracked the crossword puzzle correct was awarded with a gift as token of appreciation from the department.

Throughout the session, enthusiasm permeated the hall, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and intellectual stimulation. As the clock ticked by, moments of joy and learning intertwined seamlessly, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.

The Business Crossword activity served as a testament to the commitment of Business studies department towards students holistic education and experiential learning related to corporate world and Indian knowledge system. Overall, the event not only achieved its objective of familiarizing participants with key terminologies but also fostered a sense of pride in our cultural heritage and academic prowess.
